Page Health Analysis

Learn how Racoons analyzes your website pages for conversion performance, SEO, accessibility, and design issues.

Page Health Analysis

Racoons can analyze any page on your website and provide actionable recommendations for improving conversion performance, SEO, accessibility, and design. Each analysis evaluates your page against your project's stated goal and delivers a detailed report with prioritized fixes.

What's Included

Every page analysis covers:

  • First Impression — visual appeal, clarity, and trustworthiness above the fold
  • Messaging & Content — how well your copy supports your goal
  • Calls to Action — visibility, clarity, placement, and motivation
  • Conversion Elements — forms, trust signals, friction points
  • Design & Layout — navigation, hierarchy, accessibility, usability
  • SEO & Technical Performance — metadata, headings, structured data, and page quality

The report starts with a prioritized action plan of the highest-impact changes, followed by a detailed breakdown of strengths, weaknesses, and recommended fixes in each area.

Automatic Analysis

When you create a new project, Racoons automatically runs a page analysis on your homepage (/). This initial analysis also classifies your website's business context and goal, which are used to tailor future analyses.

You'll receive an email when the analysis is complete, and it will appear in the Analysis tab of your project.

Running an Ad Hoc Analysis

You can manually trigger a page analysis on any path of your website. This is available on Pro and Enterprise plans.

From the Dashboard

  1. Navigate to your project in the Racoons dashboard
  2. Find the Ad hoc analysis card under "On-demand insights"
  3. Select Page Analysis
  4. Enter the page path you want to analyze (e.g., /pricing, /about, /)
  5. Click Trigger Analysis

From the Analysis Tab

  1. Navigate to your project's Analysis tab
  2. Use the analysis trigger card at the top of the page
  3. Select Page Analysis, enter a path, and click Trigger Analysis

What Happens Next

After triggering an analysis, Racoons will analyze your page and deliver a full report. You'll receive an email with a link when it's ready, and the analysis will appear in your project's Analysis tab.

Analyzing Different Pages

You can analyze any publicly accessible page on your website by specifying its path:

PathWhat's Analyzed
/Homepage
/pricingPricing page
/aboutAbout page
/contactContact page
/blog/my-postA specific blog post

The analysis adapts its evaluation criteria based on the type of page. For example, a pricing page is evaluated for plan comparison clarity and objection handling, while a contact page is evaluated for form simplicity and trust signals.

Viewing Results

Analysis results are available in two places:

  1. Analysis tab — all analyses for the project are listed in reverse chronological order, expandable as accordions
  2. Direct link — each analysis has a unique URL you can bookmark or share

From any analysis, you can:

  • Continue the conversation — open a chat session with the analysis as context to ask follow-up questions
  • Copy to clipboard — copy the raw analysis text
  • Listen — use text-to-speech to hear the analysis read aloud

Usage Limits

Ad hoc analyses count toward your plan's monthly limit:

PlanMonthly Limit
FreeNot available
ProIncluded with plan
EnterpriseIncluded with plan

Your current usage is displayed in the analysis trigger card. The limit resets each billing period.

Requirements

For a page analysis to succeed, the target page must be:

  • Publicly accessible — not behind authentication or a VPN
  • Responding normally — returning an HTTP 200 status
  • Reachable — the URL in your project settings must be correct

If the page can't be reached, the analysis will still be created with an error report explaining what went wrong.
